Lead UI/UX Product Designer for Microsoft Xbox Studios — led the end-to-end design of the Xbox Studios Portfolio Tracker, introducing AI-integrated design workflows to help stakeholders visualize options and make faster, clearer decisions.
Client
Microsoft Xbox Studios (Xbox Game Studios — Microsoft's division for developing and publishing video games across Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and cloud platforms)
Sector
Gaming — internal product, portfolio management, and reporting tools
Challenge
Give Xbox Studios stakeholders a clear way to track a diverse game portfolio and evaluate multi-path UI enhancements across different stakeholder personas — comparing design options quickly, and deciding which tracker features should be automated and which needed human judgment.
My Role
Lead UI/UX Product Designer
• UX Design — End-to-end design of the Portfolio Tracker, from user flows to high-fidelity mockups and interaction models
• Visual/UI — Delivered designs using the Salesforce Lightning Design System
• UX Research — Turned survey and interview insights into clear design priorities and user flows
• Prototyping — Generative prototyping and iterative AI-assisted simulations with stakeholders to validate usability improvements and adoption
Xbox Studios Portfolio Tracker
Led the end-to-end design of the Xbox Studios Portfolio Tracker, introducing AI-integrated design workflows and generative prototyping to rapidly visualize multi-path UI enhancements across stakeholder personas, supported by BI reporting dashboards and data visualization that surface actionable insights.

Notification Systems
Delivered high-fidelity mockups and interaction models for the tracker's notification system, each tested through iterative AI-assisted simulations with stakeholders.

Bulk-Edit Workflows
Designed bulk-edit workflows so stakeholders could act on many portfolio items at once instead of one at a time, with interaction models validated through the same AI-assisted simulation process.

Priority Pinning
Designed priority pinning so the most important portfolio items stay visible and actionable at the top of the tracker experience.

Results
The Portfolio Tracker design gave Xbox Studios stakeholders a single, structured view of the portfolio — with notification, bulk-edit, and priority-pinning workflows validated before build through AI-assisted simulations.
Research Into Priorities
Turned survey and interview insights into clear design priorities and user flows, presenting multiple design options to guide stakeholder decisions and improve usability.

Automation vs. Human Judgment
Partnered with the team to identify which tracker features could be automated and which needed human judgment, so the product roadmap balanced efficiency with editorial control.
